Daniel (Dan) is a founding partner of DCG, P.C. and has almost 15 years of public accounting experience. He began his career as an industry accountant and then moved into public accounting. Dan has extensive experience guiding closely held businesses and their owners through sophisticated income tax situations, and he will assist with entity selection, planning, consulting and compliance. In addition to income tax planning, Dan focuses on cash flow and business strategic planning to accomplish goals for the individual owners.
Dan has many clients in the medical, law, travel, real estate, construction and distribution industries. Although diverse in nature, they are all entrepreneurs. Dan prides himself on being very responsive to his clients because their satisfaction is his top priority. Dan defines himself as a communicator, an educator and works to surpass clients’ expectations.
He believes that DCG provides unsurpassed value with their depth of knowledge, technical abilities and comprehension of “entrepreneurial-ese”.
Dan has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Accounting from Colorado State University. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.
A Colorado native, Dan grew up in the Denver area where his father owned an auto body shop. Now, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, as well as hunting, fishing, camping and riding ATVs with his son, Garret. In his spare time, Dan volunteers with various charitable organizations throughout the year.
